About Kargil Vijay Diwas: Kargil Vijay Diwas marks the glorious triumph of Operation Vijay, a critical military operation that took place from May 3 to July 26, 1999. It was a period of intense conflict where our courageous soldiers exhibited unwavering valor and patriotism, overcoming challenging terrains and adverse weather conditions in the high altitudes of Kargil. Their selfless dedication ensured the defense of our nation’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
